  • Days only
  • 08.00am till 16.30pm, Monday to Friday

  • £16.00 per hour

  • MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Washington area.
The Job You’ll Do;
  • You will be tasked with manufacturing Switchgear within a busy workshop.
  • Once manufacturing is complete, you will be tasked with carrying out pre-inspection checks of colleagues work
  • You will be tasked with completing calibration and certification of products.
  • You will need to work in an effective and efficient manner to ensure production orders are completed on time and to a high quality.
  • Actively promote continual improvements to drive the business forward.
  • Work in line with and help promote a safe place to work culture.
  • Carrying out drilling, tapping, wiring, looming and glanding.
About you.
  • Mechanical and assembly skills.
  • Understanding technical drawings
  • soldering, pipe bending, valve assemblies and compression fittings
  • Stripping and crimping wires.
  • Must be able to use PC equipment (MS Office).
  • Focused on quality and excellence of product.
  • Motivated to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Working either independently or within a team.
  • Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company.
  • Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.
  • Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
