MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Washington area.

The Job You’ll Do;

You will be tasked with manufacturing Switchgear within a busy workshop.
Once manufacturing is complete, you will be tasked with carrying out pre-inspection checks of colleagues work
You will be tasked with completing calibration and certification of products.
You will need to work in an effective and efficient manner to ensure production orders are completed on time and to a high quality.
Actively promote continual improvements to drive the business forward.
Work in line with and help promote a safe place to work culture.
Carrying out drilling, tapping, wiring, looming and glanding.

About you.

Mechanical and assembly skills.
Understanding technical drawings
soldering, pipe bending, valve assemblies and compression fittings
Stripping and crimping wires.
Must be able to use PC equipment (MS Office).
Focused on quality and excellence of product.
Motivated to meet targets and deadlines.
Working either independently or within a team.
Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company.
Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.
Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
