Their customers are auto manufacturers and auto part unit (equipment) manufacturers. They are a key part of the local supply chain supplying high-quality auto parts from their base in Tyne and Wear.THE ROLEThe position will be a Line Feed & Warehouse Associate supporting the Warehouse Manager ensuring order picking processes are carried out as per the operators instructions and warehouse work instructions. The other part of the role is supporting the Line FeedTeam Leader ensuring the line feed process is carried out as per the operators instructions and procedures.Liaising with customers both internal and externalBook in new stock and allocate to correct location using the warehouse systemsEnsure all stock is allocated to the correct location at the customers siteAnnotate and check relevant inventory cards with the correct informationMaintain high levels of housekeeping within all warehouse locations at both the client and customers sitesFollow company processes and procedures at all times keeping in line with current Health & Safety policiesAssist the Warehouse manager with maintenance of all warehouse areas and report damage/accidentsAssist the Line Feed Team Leader to co-ordinate all line feed operations.Carry out any other reasonable task requested by your Warehouse manager or Line Feed team leader in their absenceTHE PERSONYou would be required to work with minimum supervision and adopt a positive and proactive approach supporting the team leader with all warehouse and line feed functions. A professional and courteous manner is essential as the line feeding is a customer facingrole.
