Job Description

Are you an experienced IT Systems Coordinator Do you have experience of working on a helpdesk support functionBaltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent IT Systems Coordinator, working for a market leading and award winning, eco-friendly company. The main work location is an office based in Washington, Tyne & Wear. Working within a small team, supporting the IT needs of all colleagues and the overall business. Responsible for overseeing our clients IT infrastructure, ensuring that they have secure, reliable and fast access to their systems.IT Systems Coordinator Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management of internal helpdesk
  • Ensure efficient services are available for all users
  • Management of the server systems
  • Management of hardware and software
  • Ongoing system monitoring, review and improvements (and overseeing of installation with approved vendors)
  • Management of security risks, emergency planning, backup and phish testing
  • Development, planning and implementation of IT systems to ensure out IT infrastructure is adequate for business needs
    • IT Systems Coordinator Applicants:
  • Must have experience of working in a similar role
  • Hold a relevant degree in IT, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of servers
  • Experience of using networking systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • An interest in software development would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience of working with the following servers; domain controllers, file print, SQL, remote desktop, primary & secondary hypervisor
  • Knowledge and experience of working with hardware and software such as; UPS, Draytek, phish testing, antivirus monitoring, sage 200, office 365
  • Good communication and administration skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
  • A flexible can-do attitude to work
