If you have a degree level qualification in fashion, clothing or textiles, we want to hear from you.Import Merchandiser - FashionWashington, Tyne and Wear NE37 2SHSalary £21,000 - £25,000 depending on experience + Free ParkingFull Time, Permanent PositionPlease Note: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.Established in 1998, Panda Sourcing Ltd is a clothing importer based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. We design, source and arrange the manufacture of mens, ladies and childrens casual clothing, footwear and accessories. All goods are imported from Eastand Southeast Asia, and are sold to retailers and wholesalers in the UK.We are now looking for an Import Merchandiser (Fashion) to join our talented team.The role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on merchandising role, allowing you to gain valuable experience and make a significant contribution to the companys success.As Import Merchandiser you will:

  • Raise and manage purchase orders.
  • Monitor the internal critical path.
  • Chase lab dips, prints, bulk fabrics and other sample submissions.
  • Communicate with customers and overseas suppliers.
  • Manage your workload and be competent in multi-tasking to keep your orders running to schedule.
  • Work closely with the QC team to ensure customer fit comments/issues are highlighted and communicated to suppliers and relevant departments
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and factories.
  • Be a team player, be able to work with all departments from Senior management, sales, design, QC and logistics as well as overseas suppliers
About the Person Were looking for:You will have:
  • A relevant degree-level qualification in fashion, clothing or textiles.
  • Experience in dealing directly with Far East suppliers preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills especially in Outlook and Excel.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive "Can Do" Attitude.
