Job Description

MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a manufacturing company in the Washington area. We are looking for candidates who want to work in a Glass Processors.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Measured glass sheets and marked cutting lines on them, using specific patterns.
  • Cut glass to specified size and shape, using glass cutting tools.
  • Removed sharp edges, polished and assembled glass pieces as per job instructions.
  • Conducted quality checks on glass pieces to identify and mark defective glass.
  • Set up, operated and controlled glass cutting machines and related equipment’s.
  • Prepared and maintained records related to quantity, size and type of glass items produced
  • Breaks away excess glass by hand or with notched tool or glass pinchers.
    • MTrec Recruitment are looking for Candidates who have:
  • Should have production experience
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
  • Must have experience in the following: Glass cutting, glass arising, glass unit assembly, glass unit sealing, glass toughening etc.
    • Training:
  • First few weeks will be day shift
  • 5 days a week (40hrs)
    • This position comes with this shift available:
  • Monday - Thursday 13:45pm - 23:30pm
  • This is a temporary to permanent position
    • The salary:
  • £8.75ph - £9.00ph
