Job Description

Fabrication Supervisor required. Our client is a well-established design and manufacturer of bespoke furniture and architectural metalworks, based in the Washington area. They are seeking a hands-on supervisor with a proven background within metalwork andfabrication.Fabrication Supervisor Position Overview

  • Effectively managing the day-to-day operations within the workshop team comprising of up to 10 members of staff
  • Inspecting all completed work to ensure standards are upheld
  • Contributing to weekly production meetings
  • Liaising with the design teams to identify future production issues
  • Leading on staff appraisals and disciplinaries
  • Ensuring quality non-conformances are report
Fabrication Supervisor Position Requirements
  • Proven background and time served within MIG & TIG welding
  • Experience in fabricating brass, mild and stainless steel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings
  • Based in a commutable distance of Washington
  • Good management and communication skills
  • Confident assembly products comprising of materials including wood, stone & glass
Fabrication Supervisor Position Remuneration
  • Salary £35,000 - £40,000 - depending on experience
  • Monday - Thursday - 7:30am-4:30pm. Friday - 7:30am - 1:30pm. Permanent position
  • Holiday allowance, on-site parking and pension
