Job Description

We are proudly representing our manufacturing client in their search for a Customer Quality Liaison Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering quality requirements to support all plant and customer requirements.   • To provide detailed and accurate feedback to both plant and customer to help develop the cross-functional strength of the team
  • Ensure accurate reporting of pre-determined measurables for plant/customers within agreed timeframes
  • Ensure all safety procedures, methods, equipment and practices are adhered to
  • Presentation and feedback to customers and plant on quality concerns and corrective actions
  • Initiating Containment activities where required at request of both plant personnel and customer
  • Detailed knowledge of all products manufactured within business unit and the supplier base
  • Communication and monitoring of customer / plant problem solving
  • Analyse customer returns, assure implementation and verification of corrective/preventative actions
  • Actively supporting quality improvement initiatives and presentations
  • Monitoring and Tracking of all identified QOS metrics
  • Providing robust data analysis for problem solving effectiveness
  • Maintain satisfactory levels of time-keeping and attendance
  • Supporting Key customer meeting requirements. (Sub-System/Quality Review etc)
  • The Person:
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers
  • Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision
  • Experienced in liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Flexibility in supporting production requirements
  • Extensive experience of problem-solving activities
  • Effective team player
  • Experience of quality tools, techniques and systems such as PPAP, 8D’s, SPC, Pareto, Ishikawa
  • Computer and data collection system literacy, analysis and presentation
