Job Description

Technical Author required to create and manage 3D marketing materials such as 3D renderings, 3D animations or 3D models for marketing purposes using SolidWorks Composer. For an international company engaged in the development, design, and manufacture of fluidics systems and specialy engineered products.This role offers flexible working hours and can be performed part remote and part office based.To successfully promote products, increase market share and improve profitability and to meet targets set by the Marketing Manager, as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan.Duties:

  • Work with Marketing, Engineering and local resources to develop and maintain the required sales collateral for all required territories
  • Create and manage 3D marketing materials such as 3D renderings, 3D animations or 3D models for Marketing purposes using SolidWorks Composer
  • Write technical manuals: workshop, operating, instruction, spare parts with the support of the engineering department
  • Understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Produce customer facing interactive part list from an engineering drawing
  • Support the implementation of a 3D configurator for products
  • Graphic design
  • Manage the delivery of various marketing and promotion campaigns globally (from working with the team to support trade shows to managing mail-shots and everything in between)
  • Create video on product, services, the company, including using infographics and 3D animations
  • Will need to be in regular contacts with all departments within the company and support other departments as required
  • Communication analysis - analysis to provide group best fit solution
  • Help define, implement and report specific Voice of Customer (VOC) exercises as required
  • Assist with ensuring compliance requirements are met at all time.
