Job Description

Role: Lead Embedded Systems Engineer / Firmware EngineerLocation: WarwickSalary: £60,000 to £70,000 P/A (Negotiable)Benefits: Hybrid flexible working, Quarterly Bonus, Pension, Healthcare Plan, 25 Days Holiday+ BH’s, Training & DevelopmentOwen Daniels have partnered with a quickly growing award winning hi-tech company based in the Warwick area who are seeking an experienced Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to join their organisation on a permanent basis.As the Lead Embedded Systems Engineer, you will join an exciting product design and development team working on world first technology, developing the next generation of award-winning technology.The role will require an experienced Embedded Software & Systems professional who has a background in advanced electronic products as well as managing and leading small technical teams. You will need to be highly skilled in Electronics Design and Embedded Firmware design and development, with a passion for new ideas and turning them into advanced technology.Lead Embedded Systems Engineer – Role & Responsibilities:

  • Embedded Firmware development in C for microprocessor technology.
  • Electronic circuit design for analogue and digital electronic systems.
  • Lead a small team of embedded software and systems engineers.
  • Work closely with the muti-discipline engineering team and key stakeholders, including customers.
  • Review and recommend new technologies.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Excellent Embedded Software, Firmware and Electronics Design & Development skills
  • Proven leadership and management experience to lead a small but growing team.
  • Embedded C for a range of microprocessors including ARM Cortex and Microchip devices.
  • Electronics Design including analogue and digital circuits.
  • Wireless connectivity including Low Power RF and Bluetooth technology.
  • Designing products for manufacture and production.
