Key Skills:

  • Application, Data, System Integration Knowledge: Knowledge or experience with integration platforms such as WSO2, Talend, Mule, Boomi, Fuse, Camel, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Cloud Native and/or Event Streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka
  • API Management Knowledge: Knowledge or experience with API management platforms such as WSO2, Tyk, Kong, Apigee and/or cloud offerings such as Microsoft and AWS
  • Technical Design and Leadership
  • Consulting skills
  • Solution Architecture experience

    • Role ProfileChakray Consulting is a market-leading Digital Transformation Consultancy based in the UK, Spain, Sri Lanka, Canada and Mexico, with other satellite offices around the world.We are seeking an extremely knowledgeable technical leader in the UK to help drive the technical direction and successful outcomes of UK projects.The role is highly specialised in API Management and Enterprise Integration, being two of the core building blocks in any transformation initiative. Experience with some technology in these areas is essential, though the ability to quickly grasp and understand unfamiliar technologies in these spaces is equally as important. The successful applicant must be familiar with some modern industry integration technologies, methodologies and architecture patterns, and must also have an interest in their future direction of travel.To be considered you must have a solid development background, and have worked in a lead capacity in the past. You will also require some technical or solution architecture experience in order to communicate with key stakeholders within Chakray clients. You must be able to quickly identify skills required within projects at the right time in order to deliver successful outcomes to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will undertake the following tasks and responsibilities:
  • Oversee technical projects, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and projects are delivered successfully from a technical perspective
  • Identify project team membership and skills required in order to effectively deliver
  • Work with overseas teams and colleagues to manage delivery and outcomes
  • Assist the Marketing department in production of material for marketing purposes
  • Assist the Training function in delivering technical content for training purposes, possibly delivering technical training sessions should the need arise
  • Identify market trends relevant to Chakray and propose initiatives in order to leverage them
  • Establish communication channels with international peers in order to share best practice and industry learnings
  • Provide hands-on support where required in new or complex areas, and work with the engineers to solve problems.
  • Be the decision maker to help resolve conflict within project teams, whilst delegating to Senior Engineers where appropriate.
  • Use metrics and evidence to ensure consistent team performance.
  • Mentor and advise on best practices. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and changes to ways of working to ensure high quality delivery.
