Job Description

Our client, the UKs leaderin food manufacturing, is on the hunt for an exceptional and experienced HR Administratorto join their Team. The roleoffers flexible working and the option to work 2 days a week from home.Job Purpose:To provide an excellent level of administrative service ensuring all administration activities are provided in a timely and efficient manner. This is a busy and varied role where you will need to be able to build relationships with employees and managersacross the business unit.Duties / Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of the employee Hire to Retire lifecycle
  • Issue employment contracts and new joiner documentation.
  • Onboard new employees, process new joiner documentation including right to work checks and health screening
  • Process all changes to employees Terms and Conditions including letter generation
  • Manage and process all employee and manager queries raised via the HR service desk
  • Ensure all People HRIS systems are up to date with employee data
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly payrolls ensuring accurate and timely completion
  • Act as first point of contact for all payroll related queries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Provide reporting and data as required
  • Supporting HR projects as required
Candidate Requirements:Essential:
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role, with some understanding of HR Procedures and Best Practices
  • Awareness of confidentiality and handling confidential information securely
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Office, as well as good telephone manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively.
  • An ability to work independently and on your own initiative within specified guidelines or processes.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to deal with colleagues at all levels.
  • An ability to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
Desirable:
  • Experience in the food sector (meat business) and Agribusiness
  • Experience delivering HR services within in a fast-paced shared service centre environment
  • Knowledge of GDPR compliance
  • Previous experience work with SAP Employee Central and Kronos
  • CIPD qualified to level 3 or working towards
