Our client is a leading automotive supplier based in Warwick that enjoys an enviable reputation for its expertise. They are now looking to recruit a Compliance Specialist with a background in working for a global company. This is an exciting role as theorganisation going through a major transformation, so there are plenty of opportunities to try new things. You will be responsible for supporting strategic efforts and helping manage the companys compliance program. The right candidate must be adept at cross-functionalengagement across internal teams to deliver consistency, maintain trust and assure compliance. In return, you will enjoy a competitive annual salary with an excellent benefits package and genuine growth and development opportunities.Key responsibilities:* Act as the primary support for the day-to-day activities of the global Compliance Office.* Foster the implementation of global group-wide compliance programs, encompassing data privacy, sanctions, sustainability, ethics, and overall compliance.* Serve as the advisory point of contact for pertinent business and functional stakeholders.* Administer global compliance reporting, data systems, and oversee the compliance calendar including training and reporting.* Monitor and streamline processes using compliance management systems.* Coordinate investigations, support compliance breaches, and manage related documentation.* Assist in setting sustainability objectives and tracking progress. Contribute data for the annual Sustainability Report.* Handle restricted party screening processes and ensure compliance adherence.* Draft, distribute, and assess the annual compliance questionnaire.* Spearhead internal/external report generation.* Regularly review policies, controls, and procedures, promoting continuous improvement and best practice.Key Skills & Experience* Bachelors degree or equivalent compliance qualification.* 5+ years in compliance, data management, or similar roles.* Expertise in reporting and data management systems.* Prior experience in a global organization. Experience with Tier 1 automotive suppliers or OEMs is an advantage.* Profound knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus.* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.* Solid legal background and an understanding of regulatory environments impacting compliance in the automotive sector.* Comprehensive knowledge of global data privacy laws and regulations.* Compliance due diligence experience.* Project management skills, particularly regarding compliance investigations.* Proficiency in sustainability assessments.* Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.* Detail-oriented mindset with a penchant for completing tasks efficiently and pragmatically.* Objective and analytical thinking.If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability/notice period.
