Bank Healthcare Assistant - School Nursing Service£11-£12 per hour dependant on shift - Includes holiday paySpecial School NursingEnhance Learning and Support is a specialised nursing service in the field of learning disabilities, we provide support to a number of schools across Warwickshire to support children and young people with learning disabilities access school regardless oftheir health needs.Enhance Learning and Support school nursing team consists of a Service Manager, School Nurses, School Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to meet the diverse needs of our customers. We all work across different bases to ensure continuityof our service. The school nursing team is committed to providing high quality health care to children and young people in a special school setting.Enhance Learning and Support is looking to expand its work force to support the ever grown needs of our customers. We are looking to employ a number of Bank Healthcare Assistants to work across both Schools and College’s across Coventry and Warwickshire.The role of Bank Healthcare Assistant would include working in a number of Special Schools/College’s during Term Time as well as supporting a residential College throughout the year, working mornings/evenings/nights and weekend shifts. The provision acrossour customers includes ages from 4 years to 25 years with additional needs.The post of Bank Healthcare Assistant is supporting pupils and students with an array of needs to access education, as well as supporting them during them residing at College, to promote their independent skills and access the community. The role could includemanaging medication, enteral feeding, personal care, support with eating and drinking, diabetes management, epilepsy management, stoma care and much more. Full training to undertake this role will be provided by Enhance Learning and Support.Closing Date: 19th March 2024
