Our world-class consultants enable organizations to realize the power of the integrated enterprise by providing superior consulting and implementation services.The Role:Test Automation Lead required for implementing automation testing solution at our customers site.Area of Responsibility

  • Provide a superior level of experience and knowledge of the automation test tools to support team members through all phases testing lifecycle.
  • Create necessary Test Strategy, Test Approach, Test plans for the automation testing.
  • Designing and building automation test frameworks from scratch for automation testing.
  • To maintain and develop automated test suites, aiming for constant improvement.
  • Prepare automation test scripts corresponding to business and functional requirements.
  • Follow Test Data and Test Case execution processes
  • Detect bugs and issues as early as possible in the process. Log, prioritise, and track bugs and issues.
  • Able to run and manage appropriate tests to ensure that requirements have been fully met.
  • Provide the link between the development team and business representatives regarding testing and quality
  • Work closely with customer and stakeholders as well as ensure testing compliance using JIRA tracking tool.
  • Work closely with clients & stakeholders to ensure that automation testing activities are carried out the highest standards and to keep them informed of progress and issues.
  • To use tools like JIRA, HP ALM & Confluence for test management as required.
  • Proactively and frequently communicate with customers to build and maintain a solid working relation.
    • Knowledge / Experience
  • Strong hands on experience with test automation tool like Selenium, Cucumber, QTP and UiPath (preferably UiPath).
  • Practical hands on experience of designing automation test frameworks from scratch.
  • Practical hands on experience of writtinng automation test scripts.
  • Experience around good test case automation practices within a complex product environment.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational database.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt.
  • Knowledge of Agile / Waterfall.
  • Experience of test and issue management tools e.g. Jira, HP ALM.
  • Experience in Automotive industry.
  • Good to have Load and Performance testing experience - Load Runner, Performance Centre and JMeter or similar tools
  • Strong written communication skills including design documentation, proof of concept and prototype analysis and documentation.
