Job Description

Working with our Public Sector client the purpose of the role is o provide assistance to the officers of the Covid 19 Prevent and Response Team and partners across the regulatory and enforcement service within the Local Authorities area.The post holder will be expected to carry out any of the following duties for the service:

  • Input data onto electronic and manual Covid 19 and other Databases & online databases, as directed
  • Sanitise intelligence logs on the intelligence system.
  • Input intelligence logs onto the intelligence system, when required.
  • Report on breaches to the Database and regulatory leads.
  • Under supervision, assist Covid 19 Prevent and Response Officers with enforcement activities, including undertaking site visits, project work, collating evidence to gain compliance and for further enforcement action.
  • Provide general administration support for the Covid 19 Prevent and Response Team.
  • Work closely with District and Borough Regulatory Officers, Police, Public Health and other partners to respond to local concerns and priorities related to Coronavirus.
  • To work flexibly under the councils flexi-time system, and be willing to work on weekends, early mornings or late evenings, when necessary.
  • Be prepared to travel around the county visiting a variety of premises including outdoor markets, and further afield as necessary.
  • Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar type role eg Trading Standards, Public Health, Environmental Health, Investigative type work and MUST have own transport as travel around the District will be required.This is a Temporary role with IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW/STARTContact: Ken Wood at Network Public Sector Required skills
