Job Description

Vickers Neal Recrutment are currently working for Elegant Clutter based in Warwick.A quick browse through Elegant Clutters Instagram page will tell you this isnt going to be your average design studio jobBased in Warwick, Elegant Clutter Ltd are a leading supplier of bespoke artwork and sculpture to the restaurant, bar and hotel industries in the UK and worldwide.With everything designed in-house and predominately manufactured on site, our lively, creative studio is where graphic design and fine art collide.We are seeking a highly capable & experienced Studio Supervisor / Traffic Coordinator to join the design team and take a lead operational role in the department.This is a hands on position, not only managing the workflow of our talented design team and being the key communication link between design and production, but also doing artwork preparation for print. We are looking for someone who will support the teamtechnically and will dive in to help where ever it is needed.With the guidance from the senior team members, youll become adept at managing and improving workflow, the scheduling process and be that central person who coordinates what is being worked on, by who and when - youll keep the plates spinning and makeeffective use of time and resources.So if are you have a creative artworking background, a solid understanding of digital printing and a desire to become the go to on managing priorities and solving technical challenges, then we have a great role for you.

  • Ideally qualified to degree level in Graphic Design or similar college course. (However applications will be considered from candidates whos CV clearly demonstrates an equivalent level of professional knowledge).
  • 5yrs+ experience in a studio/print environment with a minimum of a year in a supervisory position
  • Expert in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator but with a continuous learning mindset
  • IT literate with Microsoft Office programmes (Excel to a basic level, Word, Outlook & Powerpoint)
  • Good working knowledge of digital printing
  • Creative outlook
  • Methodical, organised and accurate working style
  • Ability to work at pace and deliver multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Able to remain calm, show leadership in a busy working environment and concentrate under pressure
  • A people person with strong communication skills - able to build effective working relationships with other departments and ensure that internal processes are maintained and improved
  • Deadline driven
  • Positive, team-oriented, happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in kind of attitude
