Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Yard Operative for our client based in Six Hills, Melton Mowbray. Our Client is a family-run business founded in 1981 and they supply wood materials to the local area. This is a ongoing Yard Operative rolewhich is paying £10.50 per hour.Working Hours are:

• Week 1 - Monday to Friday - 7am to 4pm (30 min lunch break)
• Week 2 - Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm (30 min lunch break)
• Week 2 - Saturday - 7am to 12.30pm

Yard Operative responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting customers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and checking orders
• Storing stock safely
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• Manual handling tasks
• Stock taking

You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our Clients’ customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone that:

• Has the likeability factor
• Has excellent customer service
• Is hard working
• Has a positive attitude
• Has good attention to detail (Reading, Writing & Counting is essential!)
• Is prepared to work outside in all weathers
• Must be able to drive and have a car or motorbike
