Our client is one of the leading providers of overnight delivery serving the UK / IRELAND / UK market. Their freight hubs are strategically located both in the UK and Ireland to provide express road freight next day delivery with 3 depots in England and1 large site in Dublin, IrelandAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a UK/IRISH TRANSPORT OPERATOR / WAREHOUSE OPERATOR HYBRID ROLE working within the rapidly expanding Irish Distribution company based in WARRINGTON on there AM ShiftReporting directly to the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for Day to day management of the transport desk, with responsibility of cost and return for fleet of vehicles, Load planning, processing bookings, 3rd party logistics, customer service,& general admin duties.Role would be general transport office work, with some assistance in the Warehouse later in the day, so an FLT License would be useful, but not essential.Flexibility is key with Transport, Trailer or Warehouse Operations experienceSomeone with a good office mentality as warehouse / FLT training will be given on the job as time goes onThe salary would be starting £25K / quarterly bonus scheme after 6 month probation period / 20 days holiday plus BHHours of work - Monday to Friday 6.00am - 2/3pm The successful candidate must have experience from a UK and/or EUROPEAN Road Freight background, preferably with experience within the IRISH market place. You must have excellent communication skills & a good level of competence in Microsoft office, word, excel & powerpoint.
