Job Description

Test Analyst£40,000WarringtonShortList Recruitment are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join an industry leading client in the data sector, who are in a period of sustained growth.This opportunity is a manual & regression testing role with a view to expanding into automated testing as per the business needs.The successful candidate will have a strong background in a variety of different testing methods, as well as experience across the full testing lifecycle.Any previous automation experience – using Selenium Webdriver – would be beneficially but is not essential, and the opportunity to upskill in automation will be made available long-term.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the complete test cycle of software development based on business requirements
  • A variety of testing including manual, regression testing, mobile testing, API testing across our UAT and additional test environments
  • Execute testing on both scheduled and ad-hoc basis
  • Maintain and execute regression testing suites for each release
  • Review release content and pull together necessary tests into the JIRA test cycle
  • Raise detailed defects to the relevant development team in line with processes defined
  • Testing of 3rd party integrations. This includes designing bespoke integration test plans, coordinating the execution of the test plan with the relevant distributor and aiding in the identification and resolution of any defects
  • Support service management in the identification and resolution of live incidents for all products
  • Design, develop and execute reusable and maintainable automated scripts using available tools
    • Skills and experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ testing experience
  • Comfortable designing test scripts based on requirements
  • Knowledge of test management tools and systems – such as JIRA, Confluence, and ZephyrKnowledge of inte
