Job Description

My industry leading client located in Birchwood, Warrington, are currently looking to recruit on a long term, ongoing, temporary basis, a highly motivated Technical Customer Support Advisor. For the successful candidate, the role could become a permanentposition.You will be required to work from 08:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week), the rate of pay will be based on a salary of between £30,000 - £34,000 dependent upon experience. Once fully trained Hybrid working will be available, 2 days per weekfrom home and 3 days in the office.Working alongside the customer managers the successful candidate will manage the technical and operational relationship with a wide range of Customers from some of the UKs biggest companies to smaller independent companies.Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to customers and be the prime interface between customers and technical support and engineering departments to understand and resolve technical issues and queries.
  • Support customer managers in managing and resolving all customer issues in a methodical way, as well as building and maintaining relationships with customer representatives.
  • Lead routine customer operational and technical calls & attend business reviews as required.
  • Work and communicate effectively with all departments, in order to maintain a good level of interaction with the field and within the office to quickly inform and advise customers of all service operations, changes in plans, delays, overruns and environmental& safety issues.
Person Specification
  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral and be comfortable communicating with customer representatives.
  • You should be thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Salesforce skills are an advantage but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing position for example customer service or technical support
