Reference: DK/0340Type: Finance Systems ManagerDuration Permanent Salary: £50,000 - £55,000Benefits: Free parking, bonus, pension, hybrid workingLocation: WarringtonJob Title: Finance Systems ManagerPosition Summary:Heyland Recruitment are delighted to be exclusively partnering our client, a large and successful service business based in the Warrington area as they look to appoint Finance Systems Accountant as part of a newly created role within the business.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Systems Manager will take full ownership of the Payroll, HR and Financial systems to ensure good systems governance and support operational business requirements.Finance Systems Manager - Job Description* The role will work with the business to ensure that our Finance, Payroll and HR systems can produce and develop reports to support the operational business. * Acting as the system super-user you will take a lead on rectifying any systems issues and will support with training for new users. * Liaise with software providers to renew contracts, ensuring the service provided is within their SLAs and raise and chase cases logged on their customer support portal.* Book upgrades and oversee testing of new functionality, for our financial systems.* Ensure that system processes are fully documented.* Set up and maintain new system operators and also create/amend security profiles to restrict access accordingly.* Create and maintain service conditions for all payrolls to ensure holiday/sick entitlement/parental leave etc. is calculated and paid correctly.* Update all background data in the system to take into account departmental restructures.* Create/maintain new posts, locations, cost centres, and all background data etc.* Update and maintain system configuration for MyView users in relation to Personal details, Leave Management, Time Management* Ensure inputting by users is correct, by way of creation and review of audit reports.* Carry out system configuration for any new function that the company sign up to.* Assist with move from on-premise to the cloud in respect of our HR and Payroll system.Experience and Skills* Ideally the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant experience of implementing and leading on large finance systems. * Microsoft Office and Excel skills essential. Must have experience of using formulas such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF in Excel.* Good communication & interpersonal skills.* Excellent organisation and time management skills and able to meet strict deadlines.* Excellent attention to detail.As the business enjoys a sustained period of success and enters a particularly business period, the successful candidate will join a thriving and energetic business culture with a friendly and supportive accounting function.The ideal candidate will be a systems orientated finance professional who has held a similar role, ideally within a larger complex business.
