A global leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join one of the major manufacturing businesses. You will be responsible for working with suppliers to ensure orders and delivered on time, maintaining stock levels and coordinatingimport/export documentation. Candidates must have experience in a similar supply chain / logistics position within a fast-paced environment.Commutable from: Warrington, Chester, Runcorn, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlewich, St Helens, Salford, Stockport. Salary: £ 28,000 - £ 34,000 p.a. + benefits Suitable for: Supply Chain Administrator, Progress Chaser, Replenishment Planner, Stock controller, Inventory planner, Supply Chain Coordinator, Supply Chain Planner, Inventory Controller, Logistics Coordinator, Logistics Controller, Material Planner, MaterialController, Logistics Planner The Role Work closely with suppliers to ensure orders and successful placed and delivered on time.Raising Blanket order releases and understanding supply demand screens.Raising Procurement orders and chasing suppliers for any delaysCommunicate to Customer Services and supplier late deliveries.Deal with all invoice queries; liaising with departments to clear queries and allocate invoices correctly.Deal with the daily imports from the EU, liaising with transport companies and brokers.Create all export documentation for customer deliveries outside the UK.Liaise with transport/Intermediaries to ensure all documentation is correct.Booking all hardware customer orders checking stock availability and supplier lead-times if not in stock.The Candidate Candidates are sought with experience in a similar supply chain role, chasing progress of suppliers and ensuring stock levels are correct at all times. With strong communication skills and some understanding of import/export processes would be beneficial.You must have good working knowledge of Excel and be highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
