Job Description

Do you want to work for one of the largest waste recycling companies in the UK Are you currently Site Manager or Supervisor Do you have WAMITAB Qualifications Then read on and apply below...Reporting into the Company DirectorsThe main purpose of the job is:To ensure the Company Health and Safety obligations are met.The main task of the Site Manager’s job will be:

  • To organise the Warehouses to run to their practical and safe maximum efficiency.
  • To communicate with Health and Safety advisor and maintain the company’s online Health & Safety System, ensure the company meets their Health and Safety obligations.
  • Communicate and report to the Environment Agency to satisfy our bespoke permit obligations.
  • Motivate, train and develop the team and manage its performance.
  • To record and maintain training records of your team.
  • To organise and follow the maintenance schedule and keep a record of machine maintenance.
  • To practice the duty of care when operating company equipment in accordance with company policy.
  • Apportion your time in the warehouse - To “fill in” as required to meet the demands of the job.
  • Ensure the area within and the warehouses are kept clean and tidy at all times by organising and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
  • To carry out an accurate physical stock count and to report the count at each month end. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be required to perform different tasks to facilitate your changing role within the organisation in order to suit the overall business objectives of the organisation.
