Boasting a stunning customer satisfaction score in a recent Gartner customer survey, this is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking hi-tech company that believe in the people they employ.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer with that little bit extra who is looking for thenext challenge in their career and can complete the full development Lifecyle within a team or as anindividual.Assignments will typically include actively developing new features and enhancements in our clientsproducts following an adapted Agile Methodology, which will include requirements gathering and analysis,solution design and development.SummaryDue to the continuous success of our clients bespoke solutions, we are looking for an experienced SeniorDeveloper with 10+ years of commercial experience developing web-based software solutions in C# (MVC)and writing low level code in C C++.Reporting directly to the Development Manager, you will be a solid team player who works well within ateam and is also capable of working fully independently to strict deadlines.Assignments will typically include actively developing new features and enhancements in our clientsproducts following an adapted Agile Methodology, which will include requirements gathering and analysis,solution design and development.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer with that little bit extra who is looking for thenext challenge in their career and can complete the full development Lifecyle within a team or as anindividual.Essentials Skills• 10 years commercial experience in C#• Commercial experience with C C++, specifically the creation of device drivers• Frontend development technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.• Knowledge with the ASP.NET framework and design architectural patterns such as MVC• The consumption of data from web services using technologies such as oAuth• A practical working knowledge of SAM ITAM• A solid understanding of writing SQL statements and schematic database design.• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skillsDesirable• Practical experience of Oracle, IBM, Linux, Solaris or Apple based devices is highly desirable.• Exposure to the Objective C or Swift development languages.• Infrastructure and / or database design.• Scripting on a Linux or Unix based system.Qualities• Highly motivated and driven developer who can work on there own or as part of a team.• Excellent communication both written and oral• Problem solving including researching and developing solutions• Ability to work under own initiative such as when learning about new technologies• Methodical and able to work to agreed standards and processes.• Thinks out of the box and is able to resolve complex problems• Enthusiastic and a team player• Honest, reliable and trustworthyUnsociable HoursSome hours outside the normal working hours may be required to complete specific projectsTraining Provided• Anticipated to be approximately three months, depending on experience• Training on our clients Product Portfolio• Training on our clients MVC Framework.• Additional basic technical training that may be required, for example, unfamiliar platforms Required skills
