A global chemical manufacturer are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead projects at their site in Cheshire.Client DetailsThe company provide speciality chemicals and high-performance materials that purify, protect and enhance the world around us. Through a team of talented and experienced people, the company develops, manufactures and brings to market products and processes that help customers solve complex problems.DescriptionThe jobholder is responsible for ensuring that technical and manufacturing projects and improvements are designed and implemented that meet the Company safety standards and meet the business objectives of cost, timescale and fitness for purpose. In addition, the jobholder supports the Operations Department by monitoring performance of processes, faultfinding and implementing improvement measures.You will plan, lead and implement capital projects including process safety, budget control, identifying and introducing innovations and equipment that optimises plant operations and reduces hazards. Projects will range from design, new product and follow process design procedures in a safe environment.ProfileThe ideal candidate must have a good degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with a strong track record in delivering projects within a chemical/oil industry. Ideally you will have experience of continuous and batch reaction, high hazard processes and application of process safety standards.
