Following significant growth, a leading manufacturing business has a new vacancy for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor. With experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment you will have a good understanding of health and safety policies.Commutable from: Chester, Liverpool, Runcorn, Manchester, Middlewich, St Helens, Warrington, Salford, Stockport.Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. (FTC) + benefitsSuitable for: HSE Officer, HSE Advisor, EHS Officer, EHS Advisor, Health and Safety Officer, Health and Safety Advisor, H&S Officer, H&S Advisor, H&S Manager, Health & Safety Manager.The RoleDevelop and maintain systems to drive compliance and accident preventionProvide expertise to proactively address near miss occurrencesProvide technical expertise and participate in injury / incident investigations to assist in identifying root cause analysis and provide recommendations to prevent recurrenceManage EHS action databases to ensure the location remains in line with plansSelect and manage PPE requirementsDevelop, review and facilitate EHS related trainingAssess, evaluate, eliminate / minimize risks collaboratively with employees using technical knowledge of EHS regulationsCoordinate the development of systems to ensure metrics are accurate and timelyEnsure all areas work are to legislative guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy working environmentCreate and deliver training sessions and tool box talks to improve awareness of responsibilities and competency in managing health and safetyThe Person Previous experience within fast-paced manufacturing or highly regulated environmentMinimum of bachelors degree in related disciplineNEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)Minimum of 2 years experience in Health and safety positionStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, problem-solving and presentation skillsMust be highly organised and able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a very fast-paced environmentFor more information please send a CV to Lee Smith
