We have an ambitious plan for our journey to Outstanding and are looking for aspirational, committed individuals to join us, making a real difference to both staff and patients.Applications are invited from highly motivated professionals with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, so if you are a dynamic, enthusiastic cardiac physiologist and being part of a developing service interests you, come and join us!We welcome enquiries from both a proficient Band 6 wishing to progress further in Echocardiography or a Band 7 wanting to advance their practice.The echocardiography service at the Trust is about to enter another exciting period of change with the recruitment of a 9th consultant specializing in imaging, particularly the development of cardiac MRI.A clinical lead for imaging has recently been appointed who takes an active role in physiologist development and the development of physiologist led specialized services. We have recently procured new equipment including a 3D TOE probe.There are weekly echo team meetings to discuss service delivery and technical echo questions. Training and development is actively encouraged.We are working towards departmental accreditation and the successful candidate would be expected to take an active part in achieving this.Do you want a challenge, to learn new skills and help build a service
