Job Description

My client is one of the leading companies in the scientific industry and is looking to take on a new QC Laboratory Technician accessible via Warrington, Manchester, Cheshire, and surrounding areas.The role is a 12-month temporary rolewith a salary of £20K and is Monday to Friday!The role is in the genetic sciences division and will have key responsibilities of:

  • Performing batch reviews of QC documents for bulk, intermediate and finished goods QC tests.
  • The performance and training of instrument calibration with the calibration schedule upkeep.
  • Leading or being part of the process of improvements, development projects, as well as contributing towards the resolution of quality issues.
  • Operate within ISO 9001, 13485 and DNA forensic ISO 18385 quality requirements
For this role, you will need:
  • 3 A-levels at A*- C or the equivalent required including Science.
  • Industrial science laboratory experience desired.
  • DNA technology, PCR/qPCR and capillary electrophoresis experience is highly desirable.
