Job Description

I am currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a growing and successful organisation based in Warrington. This is a fast-paced role where the successful candidate will be required to manage a high volume of invoices daily, processing throughInvoice Data Capture and Automatic Purchase Order Matching Systems.Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Data Capture Verification
  • Processing Purchase Order matching exceptions
  • Supplier invoice query resolution using in-house intranet based system
  • Dealing with internal customer/supplier phone calls and email queries
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Desirable skills and experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role (at least 2 years in a high volume Purchase Ledger department)
  • PC Literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Team player
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent administrative/organisational abilities
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Confident and possess excellent communication skills
