Power Converter Engineer (Medical Device Manufacturing) £55,000 - £60,000 + shift allowance + 28 days holiday +private healthcare+ 8% Pension +relocation Package 0700-1500 / 1500-2200 (flexible shift options) Warrington, Cheshire (Commutable from: Runcorn, Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, Ellesmere Port)Are you an experienced Power Converter Engineer with experience in the commissioning, Installation & Maintenance of high-power systems looking to work for a highly innovative company in the medical industry This is a fantastic opportunity to work on state of the art equipment in a technically interesting and varied role. On offer is a crucial position where you will be responsible for high-power systems on site (RF power systems, magnet power converters, high-voltage pulsed power systems, etc) for the medical industry. This role would suit an Experienced Power Converter Engineer looking to work on large scale innovative projects for a ground breaking manufacturer offering specialist training and exciting long term career prospects. The Role:* Commissioning installation & Maintenance of high-power systems on site (RF power systems, magnet power converters, high-voltage pulsed power systems, etc)* Immunity and Emission tests for a large variety of devices following established protocols* Magnetic field surveys and mappings on different types of electromagnet* Reprogramming of field electronic digital devices* Writing reports & documentationThe Candidate:* Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent* Experience with electrical installations & high-power and high-voltage systems* Experience performing high-bandwidth and high-precision measurements * Previous experience in the field of magnetic field measurements & with performing RF measurements* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic * Team player & problem solver with a flexible attitude & the ability to work shifts and some weekendsTo apply for this role or for to be considered for further roles, please click "Apply Now" or contact Sarah Hibberd at Rise Technical Recruitment.This vacancy is being advertised by Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd.
