Tradewind is on the lookout for a Learning Support Assistant who can confidently support students diagnosed with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who just require some additional help.The role of a Learning Support Assistant is to make learning and the curriculum accessible by having lessons and activities adapted to meet the pupils individual needs. This can be done through either working one-to-one, or in small groups, as instructedby the class teacher.The school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant ASAP on a full-time, long-term basis until at least Christmas.As a result, the school is looking for an individual who has experience of enhancing and maintaining engagement through a variety of different teaching methods as every pupil has individual learning needs. Ideally, you will have a Teaching Assistant Level2 qualification (or equivalent).In order to be considered for this role, you will need:
