Lead Automation Software Tester - Selenium, Specflow, C#Near Warrington - Commutable via Liverpool and Manchester£350,000 - £45,000 pa salary (depending on experience) + Great Benefits PackageMust be EEC Citizen or have ILR in the UK. No Tier 2 visas or contractors looking to go perm please High growth software house requires experienced Senior Automation Test Analyst to join a small friendly established team, collaborating with them to further enhance the QA department and work on solutions for a range of international corporate IT clients.You will have experience of working in an Agile development environment with commercial experience in automated web-based testing frameworks. You will be working collaboratively with other wider team members including developers and product owners and with a strong track record in delivering to deadlines, attention to detail and a willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced working environment.The Role:The QA Analyst will be working alongside a team of developers and product managers at all levels to work on an estate of internal web applications and external public facing web sites- collaborating daily with colleagues to think informatively, challenge convention and to enjoy being part of a team of like-minded individuals.To produce test documentation (test plans and test scripts) to agreed standards.Perform quality testing (sprint/exploratory/regression/user interface/smoke) on projects and issues to agreed processes and timescales.Delivery and maintenance of a web testing automation frameworkWorking with multiple web technologies and adaptable to designing web automation using various tools including SpecFlow, Selenium and C#.Report on defects and manage them through to successful resolution.Collaborate with other team members and business stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and acceptance of completed work.Reporting test progress to the Development Manager, communicating effectively and escalating where appropriate.Required skills and experience:3-5 years + commercial experience working with web testing frameworks and the design of web-based testing.Experience of preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress updates.Previous working experience with tools such as Selenium, Jest and common web testing IDEs.Good understanding of the Software Development Life cycle.Previous experience with using tools to automate desktop software.Hands on Automation experience and possessing strong conceptual knowledge of automation frameworks.Understanding of MS SQL Server querying.Experience of Visual Studio Team Services.ISTQB / ISEB testing qualifications.Knowledge of JavaScript usefulSome C# for test harness creationMy client firmly believes that having an enjoyable and rewarding environment is the best way to achieve business goals.
