Land & Section 106 OfficerEmployment Type: PermanentLocation: WarringtonSalary: £36,000Our client has ambitious development aspirations to deliver over 5,000 new homes across the North West region by 2025 and beyond. This programme amounts to a capital investment of £900million over five years.Their ambitious programme covers three heartland areas of Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington as well as the Liverpool City Region and beyond.As a key member of the Growth & Partnership team within the Development division, the Land & Section 106 Officer will support the aims of the Business Plan and corporate objectives to grow the success of the group as a land led multi tenure developer within the Liverpool City Region and beyond. The role will report to the Land & Planning Manager.This is an important role in which you will:The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed member of the team who will be responsible for monitoring and putting together bids for land and section 106 opportunities to enable the delivery of an ambitious development strategy. The post-holder will have a flexible approach to work and will support the Land & Planning Manager to direct multi-tenure development and sales strategies and programmes which deliver obligations to the group as well as delivering its own ambitions to create new homes and surpluses for the Group to invest in its charitable activities.To be successful in this role you will:Have experience of working in a successful target driven development environment and have an understanding of housing markets and factors that influence development proposals, including a thorough knowledge of affordable housing obligations delivered via s106 or planning condition. You will have experience of carrying out feasibility studies and development appraisals and be commercially focused.Great people share qualities that our client values highly.
