Job Description

Laboratory Technician - Required for our client in Warrington. My Client are looking for a Laboratory Technician to undertake various Materials and In situ Testing. The Laboratory Technician would be testing soils, aggregates & concretes.No experience required as they provide onsite training but experience would be beneficialLaboratory Technician Position Overview

  • Ensuring that site sampling and laboratory testing is carried out to high standards of safety
  • Ensuring that adequate and proper records are kept and filed correctly to satisfy the UKAS requirements
  • Ensuring test equipment is checked, cleaned and calibrated and functioning properly
  • Experience within materials testing
  • CBR, plate bearing, concrete testing and nuclear density testing
Laboratory Technician Position Requirements
  • HNC advantageous
  • Experience within construction materials, soil and aggregate sampling environment Experience within materials testing, Blacktops, soils and Concrete
  • Knowledge of the construction Industry
  • Live near to Warrington
Trainee Laboratory Technician Position Remuneration
  • Salary up to £26,000 DOE
  • Contributory Pension Scheme
  • Full training given
  • Hours: 0800 - 17:00 Mon- Fri (40 Hour)- (The nature of the sectors we support will from time to time require the candidate to work overtime, weekends, nightshifts and away from home so flexibility is essential).
