Job Description

We’ll support you on your learning journey, from start to finish.You will be working for a leading data management services company, based in Warrington. As a data analyst apprentice, you will be reporting to the Business Insight Development Team Leader. Your main role will be designing, building, and maintaining relational databases and providing technical end to end solutions to client issues.Your responsibilities as an IT Apprentice will include:

  • Producing briefs and processing instructions, including Quality Control Checks
  • Designing and developing marketing databases
  • Designing, Developing, and utilising marketing systems such as FastStats for statistical analysis and reporting
  • Developing solutions to solve client data problems
  • Improving current processes for efficiency gains
  • Providing a good level of customer service to clients
    • Interested The qualifications and skills you should have:
  • Grades A-C in GCSE Maths & English Language (can include equivalent e.g., Functional Skills Level 2 or A-Levels)
  • Basic skills in Microsoft SQL Server - Querying, aggregating, and transforming data using T-SQL.
  • Ability to write complex SQL including joins, writing Stored procedures and Sub-queries
  • Knowledge of data formatting and transformations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Typical work hoursMonday - Friday37.5 hours per weekWhat kind of training will you receiveTraining will take place in our classroom locations, online and face to face with our mentors. Your employers line manager will also support you and teach you new skills.As a NowSkills IT Apprentice, you will be assigned a well-experienced tutor, who will assign you tasks and will support you to achieve the best possible grade.Qualifications you will receive (varies with the employers projects)
