Role: IT Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Warrington (Hybrid Working) Salary: GBP 40,000 - 60,000 DOEAre you an experienced Infrastructure engineer looking for more responsibility, progression and rewarding pay/benefits package If yes, you best read belowMy client is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. You will be working closely with the CTO and be responsible for monitoring clients infrastructure systems whilst being hands on Support expert dealing with user issuesfrom 1st - 3rd line. You will be a crucial part of the team and be involved in everything offering a lot of exposure to new technologies, projects and career progression.Key Responsibilities:** Maintain, monitor and support clients computing systems to ensure availability in line with SLAs** Perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as patch management and backups** Identify problems and optimise performance and escalate when necessary ** Monitor system capacity in terms of disk space, storage and CPU Utilisation ** Liaise with 3rd party vendors for support and upgrades ** To provide technical support (1st and 2nd line) ** Document hardware and software problems detected including resolution ** Be involved in the installation, upgrading and continuous improvement of our clients operating environment, whilst maintaining the reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure.Key Skills:** Experience maintaining VMware infrastructure and Veeam Backups ** Windows Server - Versions 2012 R2 and above ** Exchange and Office 365** Network switches, routers, firewalls and VPNs ** Active Directory, DHCP and DNS** Desktop support in a commercial environment ** Good understanding of Computer support and troubleshooting ** Extensive experience with Windows Operating System** Excellent telephone manner and communication skills** Experience managing and maintaining firewalls (Desirable) ** Microsoft certification (Desirable)Benefits:** Annual 10% of Base Salary Bonus ** Flexible working pattern** Hybrid working** 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays** Onsite parking** Pension Scheme** Private healthcare schemeOur client offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company.
