Job Description

iOS EngineerPatented Software used Globally Fantastic Growth & Career Development Location: Currently working from home due to Covid 19 precautions however when office reopens you will be in the Warrington office 2-4 days a week so must live within 60 minutes of Warrington.

  • Do you have 2+ years iOS Development experience

Underpinning every part of the business is absolute data security, with some of the biggest names in the insurance, facilities management, security, and infrastructure trusting them to handle hundreds of thousands of videos and images every month.As an iOS Developer you will possess a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. Youll have the opportunity to work with a team of talented developers to design and build the next generation of video enabled mobile applications. This is a pivotal role within the business and through this youll be able to make an impact quickly whilst having the opportunity to quickly progress your career. Culturally this business will give you autonomy to make decisions whilst allowing you to work closely with others.Responsibilities - iOS Engineer
  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
  • Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and realise products
  • Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
  • Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
  • Contributing to the design of compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
  • Standardising the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
  • Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Modifying the current code base to add new features and fix bugs
    • Essential Qualifications - iOS Engineer
  • 2+ years commercial software development experience using iOS and (iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Graphics and Core Text)
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Knowledge of benchmarking and optimization
  • Understanding of Apples design principles and interface guidelines
  • Good testing and QA skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
  • Good knowledge and experience of Swift
    • iOS Developer / Mobile Developer / iOS Engineer
