Job Description

Interim Management AccountantLong term opportunities availableClient DetailsLarge, well established, inquisitive business is looking for an interim Management required for initially circa 6 months.DescriptionThe role is working in team of Management Accountants and will be responsible for the month end processes for a number of legal entities including :

  • Coordinating and hands on production of monthly management accounts, responsible for posting accruals, prepayments and cost transfer journals.
  • Management Accounting of Central and Regional cost centre overheads
  • Variance analysis and provision of high-level commentary
  • Fixed Assets Register Maintenance and Reconciliation Process
  • Overseeing the Scaffold Stock Management compliance process
  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations & Review to FD sign off level, identifying Risks and Opportunities
  • Preparing contract performance reports
  • Oversee inter-company invoicing and reconciling group balances
  • Responsible for monthly allocation of costs to contracts.
  • Assistance with information provision for annual tax processes
  • Group Reporting inputs of Debtors/Creditors/Stock/Capex and Cash.
  • Prepare for Annual external Audit and answering Auditor queries in a timely manner
  • Update of process notes and procedural documentation
  • Supporting the team with improving finance reports and process.
ProfileYou will need to be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and be an experienced Management Accountant with a track record in a similar role.Job OfferThe role is initially 6 months but there could be permanent opportunities available.A salary of circa 45k is offered (or day rates will be considered) with additional benefits.Hybrid working is available (50% split of office and home working) plus an early finish on a Friday.
