Job Description

Our client is a small, industrial, thriving, family run business who have been in business for over 45 years. They are looking for a new Inbound Sales Estimator/Administrator to join their team.Manufacturing PVC curtains, Insulated products, Rubber products and sell mainly in the UK but they are looking to push sales into Europe.They are looking for an individual who can manage the existing inbound sales requirements, provide sales administration, manage existing account requirements, and gain new business and help assist the Team Leader/Directors with European and Internationalgrowth.As an Inbound Sales Estimator/ Administrator your duties will be:

  • Our client is a very busy small company and needs a new team member who can operate well within their existing team, you need to be very proactive and support the needs of other team members.
  • As a Sales driven organisation, they need someone who will continually push for the next sale, someone who is confident chasing up opportunities and then converting them into salesthey welcome new ideas, and forward thinking.
  • You will be supported fully and trained in their systems and product ranges, you need to be able to work well on your own, managing your own targets and sales whilst reporting into the Sales Team Leader.
  • Assisting the current sales team with pricing enquiries/orders, following up leads, handling customer relationship and key account management and developing new leads.
  • Manage the administrative requirements of the role to include filing, dispatching, order books and paperwork trail associated with the sales function of the company.
  • Understanding measurements is critical as they manufacture to size and being able to comprehend and convert measurements accurately is key.
  • General office administration, logging and updating of enquiries and projects.
The successful Inbound Sales Estimator/ Administrator will have the following skills:
  • Proven track record in sales management and/or sales estimator role.
  • Confident in developing existing accounts and building new ones.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow a set process.
  • Ability to talk with customers over the phone and occasionally face to face.
  • Experience of Industrial markets and engineering solutions would be an advantage.
  • Able to work to targets and deadlines.
Additional Information
  • Bonus offered for annual turnover growth for company +10% - Capped at £5k depending on direct attribution to growth.
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) - +2 days on 5-year anniversary / + 3 days on 10-year anniversary.
  • 2 days per annum banked hours (facility that allows you to work overtime and bank hours up to a maximum of 16 hourshours can be used for personal appointments etc.).
  • Flexible working can be reviewed and accommodated depending on candidate.
