Job Description

Graduate Developer Patented Software used Globally Fantastic Growth & Career Development Location: Currently working from home due to Covid 19 precautions however when office reopens you will be in the Warrington office 2-4 days a week so must live within 60 minutes of Warrington.

  • Do you have 1+ years Android Development experience either at University or in a commercial setting

Youll have the opportunity to work with a team of talented developers to design and build the next generation of video enabled mobile applications. This is a pivotal role within the business and through this youll be able to make an impact quickly whilst having the opportunity to quickly progress your career. Culturally this business will give you autonomy to make decisions whilst allowing you to work closely with others.Responsibilities - Graduate Developer
  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
  • Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and realise products
  • Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
  • Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
  • Contributing to the design of compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
  • Standardising the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
  • Modifying the current code base to add new features and fix bugs
    • Essential Skills & Knowledge - Graduate Developer
  • 1+ year software development experience (academic or commercial) ideally within Android
  • Knowledge of Java and Kotlin (Android)
  • Good testing / debugging and optimisation skills
  • Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
  • Previous experience of building native apps
  • Good communication with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team
    • Mobile Developer / Android Engineer / Android / Graduate Developer
