Futures are seeking to appoint an Electronics Development Engineer to provide engineer support for our clients electronics engineering team. As Electronics Development Engineer you will have a technological qualification, experience of building, testingand debugging electronic hardware, excellent written communication skills to produce documentation and a "go the extra mile" attitude to proactively support the electronic design engineering team. Youll be joining a long established business recognised asa best-in-class manufacturer with an excellent track record of developing their own people, including lots of internal promotion opportunities.Electronics Development Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Electronics / Hardware / BOM / Test Engineer / Design / Electrical & Electronic / Testing* Produce and maintain technically accurate and illustrative (3D) Test Procedures* Create and maintain test equipment BOMs, schematics, technical drawings* Produce Risk Assessments, maintenance/calibration plans and trouble shoot guides* Assemble hardware to specification and then test and debug it* Provide technical support to Production, Quality & TPM teams* Involvement with report / data generation process for R&D and manufacturingElectronics Development Engineer - Skills and Abilities - Electronics / Hardware / BOM / Test Engineer / Design / Electrical & Electronic / Testing* HNC or equivalent in an engineering or technology based subject (electrical & electronic engineering or equivalent preferred)* Competent in building, testing, debugging and working with analogue and digital electronics hardware* Experience of building, testing and working with electrical and mechanical assemblies* Ability to understand electronic circuit schematics and the basic function of standard components* Ability to produce documentation of test hardware, software and processes* Excellent computer literacy, particularly with MS Office apps Excel, Word and OutlookDevelopment Engineer, Electronics, Hardware, BOM, Test Engineer, Design, Electrical & Electronic, TestingIf this role could appeal please do apply now!
