Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Operator (Rubber) to join our client’s team, who specialise in manufacturing metal products for a wide variety of industries. They fabricate products in a wide variety of materials from perforated aluminium sheets to stainless steel woven mesh and rubber mats.As a CNC Operator (Rubber), your duties will be:

  • Set up and operate machines as required to manufacture specific parts.
  • Analyse work orders, parts and drawings.
  • Check parts through the production run, using supplied measuring equipment to monitor quality and repeatability of processes.
  • Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications and drawings through the use of measuring equipment.
  • Training and teaching new employees with the specific know how of company products and technologies.
  • Provide routine maintenance and minor repairs to CNC brake press machines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
  • An ideal CNC Operator (Rubber) will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Education through Apprenticeship or Technical program.
  • Production Experience.
  • Good computer skills with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Must possess strong mathematical skills.
  • Safety mind-set.
  • Keen eye for detail with a results-driven approach.
