Business Development Manager - Facilities Salary: £31,931 to £34,709 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).Contract Type: Open EndedLocation: Science and Technology Facilities Council, Daresbury Laboratory, Warrington.The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is seeking to appoint a Business Development professional. The role of the Business Development Manager will be to identify and develop a pipeline of technology businesses, from initial enquirythrough to bringing businesses onto the Sci-Tech Daresbury Campus to develop and grow. About this opportunity:This role will involve identifying businesses that are seeking business accommodation including biology and chemistry laboratories, engineering workshops and office space for start-up and early-stage businesses, as well as facilities and technical serviceprovision for our tenant businesses.It will also involve identifying businesses that require access to our additive manufacturing and digital prototyping expertise. These businesses will range from tech start-ups, to more established small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that require specialistsupport to develop and reduce risks of launching new products and services.You will join an existing business development team who actively support each other and work collaboratively across the department. You will effectively engage with our campus events programmes and initiatives to promote the benefits of our facilities tobusinesses across the wider campus.We are looking for someone to identify new prospects for our business accommodation and technical facilities and to deliver and translate suitable pipeline opportunities. You will also network extensively, attending relevant business events and developingkey relationships with collaborators and partners within our referral network.Your responsibilities will include:
