Job Description

Group Tax Manager• Location: Lingley Mere, Warrington• Salary: Competitive• Job Type: PermanentWe are seeking a Group Tax Manager to join our inclusive and innovative FTSE 100 company. This role is ideal for an experienced, qualified tax professional who is looking to apply their skills within an established in-house tax team. This role wouldsuit those who have already worked in-house or those in practice looking to make their first move into industry. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will manage compliance and reporting for the group and support a variety of ad-hoc advisoryprojects.Day-to-day of the role:• Manage corporate tax reporting and compliance computations, including group external reporting, business plans, regulatory plans, and accounts.• Assist the Head of Tax and legal team on a wide variety of transactions.• Communicate the impact of changes in tax legislation and tax accounting to the Board and identify opportunities to optimise tax efficiencies.• Manage external advisors in supporting with capital allowance and R&D claims.• Conduct tax modelling and forecasting of tax payable and profits/losses as required.• Contribute to systems implementation and the integration of new technology solutions and processes.• Provide ad hoc advice to the business as required.• Handle Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) reporting.• Deputise for the Head of Tax when necessary.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Proven experience in corporate tax for large companies and consolidated groups.• ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA qualification.• Strong UK tax technical skillset.• Good tax accounting knowledge and experience of reporting under IFRS.• Strong knowledge of capital allowances.• Proficiency in Excel and an enthusiasm for tax technology.Benefits:• Generous annual leave package starting at 26 days, increasing to 30 days after four years, plus 8 bank holidays.• Competitive pension scheme with up to 14% employer contribution.• Performance-related bonus scheme and recognition awards.• Comprehensive healthcare plan.• £5,000 car allowance.• Flexible and hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).If you have the necessary skills and experience please apply online today!
