Are you a Business Development professional based in the North West with that hunting instinct eager to build new relationships and win new clientsLet me expand…Working with a small, yet mighty business who are fairly new on the scene but who are already proving they’re brilliant at what they do. They offer an excellent range of solutions for their clients, all of which are a hottopic’ in the industry right now- and will continue to be!Their client base is vast, mostly SME’s, and they have clients spanning across a range of industries (which means the opportunities are endless).Initially this will be a prospecting and hunting role, NOT an account management role. However, as the role develops over time, your role will be nurture and retain your clients too so you’ll have to be ambitious and resilient with excellent relationshipmanagement skills. It’s important to mention that 80% of your leads will have to be self-generated.There will be some leads passed to you, but the expectation is you’ll have a curious mindset able to uncover your own leads and act on them! Sales can be made via the telephone, online meetings or face to face - so you’ll have the flexibility to network,and close those deals in the best way possible for your client.You’ll be working from home for this role however there will be travel to see your clients (largely North West but UK wide travel will be involved). You’ll also be going to the Head Office near Bradford for team meetings and training.A bit about you…You will have been working as a BDM previously - enjoying the end-to-end sales process from generating your own leads, sitting appointments, closing the deal!Industry is less important, as what is important is your drive, enthusiasm and vision. However, it’s a bonus if you’ve worked in a B2B role before - potentially from a software, HR, Recruitment type background.Although you’ll be working from home and out and about, you’ll have the support of your team and a Sales Director.
