Job Description

  • BI Analyst (Permanent)
  • 3 days remote / 2 days on-site
  • £30k + 10% annual bonus

A oil and fuel supplier located in Warrington is looking to take on a resilient and dynamic BI Analyst where you will beResponsible for the development and implementation of business requirements for BI using a range of techniques and data visualisationtools. Their core goal is to provide the business withinnovative solutions and timely access to high-quality, integrated reporting
  • Scope, Design, Development & Deployment of business requirements through use of Qlikview, Qliksense and other IT approved BI tools.
  • Production of necessary documentation for BI developments including (but not limited to) data dictionaries, technical manuals, user guides and release notes
  • Liaise with stakeholders around the business to constantly promote BI and provide solutions for reporting improvements
  • Work closely with Customer Insight Analysts to help deliver reporting & analysis solutions which aid them in their roles.
  • Assist with the daily maintenance/administration of the corporate Qlikview environment including nPrinting, licence management, process controls
What are they looking for
  • Experience of developing BI Reporting solutions in a large enterprise environment
  • Ability to write transactional SQL queries and stored procedures to source data for QlikView applications
  • Knowledge / experience of scripting, data source integration and application development
  • Knowledge and understanding of business analysis, principles, processes, and techniques
  • Thorough understanding of different data structures / formats and comfortable importing / exporting data from various sources
