BarberAre you an experienced barber who loves sharing their skills & passionDo you believe that people are capable of change and deserve a second chance in life Are you ready to work in prison education and provide valuable support with a rehabilitative focus We are looking to extend our Barbering Team. We currently have Barbering Academies in 3 prisons, and we want to ensure a flexible, quality-focussed provision for everyone involved.We want to hear from TUTORS who are interested in working with small groups of prison-based learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations. You must be able to deliver engagingand informative sessions, ensure that appropriate training and assessment plans are in place and work with the learners to help each one fulfil their potential.Have you got what it takesYou need a passion for what you do along with substantial vocational experience.You will also need a Level 3teaching or assessing qualification as well as a Level 3 vocational qualification as you will be delivering and assessing Level 2 qualifications.We want to hear from IQAs who are qualified, experienced and committed to ensuring the provision is the best it can be. Your feedback to the tutors is vital in improving standards and your ability to work with awarding organisations to ensure best practiceand compliance is key to the success of the academies.Have you got what it takesYou need a passion for what you do along with sector-specific experience.You will also need assessing and quality assurance qualifications as well as a Level 3 vocational qualification as you will be quality assuring Level 2 qualifications.Prisons are dynamic environments; they are challenging and rewarding in equal measure.
