Job Description

Air Conditioning Engineer (Mobile) - Facilities Management - Salary up to £40,000 - North West About the Company Our client is an established Facilities Management organisation, who works UK wide with Commercial and Public Clients maintaining their buildings.Due to growth and winning new Air Conditioning contracts, we are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer, to cover contracts across the North West from Burnley to Birmingham, in the midlands. Covering the M60/M6 corridor.The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned maintenance and reactive works on various sites. Working on Air Conditioning equipment and Air Handling Units.Air Conditioning Engineer (Mobile) - The Rewards

  • Salary Negotiable DOE - circa £35,000 - 40,000
  • 40 hour week

  • Call out 1/5 standby £140 - Hourly rate is double time

Air Conditioning Engineer (Mobile) - Job Overview
  • Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard
  • Making sure jobs are completed wherever possible within the agreed contract SLAs
  • Coordinate any required job extensions with Management and the Helpdesk
  • Carry out ad-hoc M&E tasks as instructed by the Contract Manager
  • Ensuring all works will be in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act requirement and to company safety procedures and contract specification
  • Respond to Reactive Works to include all Air Conditioning works as well as Electrical and Mechanical (within competency)
  • Address minor fabric issues
  • Ensure the correct and timely completion of paperwork according to company policy and procedure.
  • Provide engineering condition reports and quotations as requested by Management.
  • Ensure completion of Site Log Books where applicable
  • Maintain good customer interface skills.
  • Able to carry out reactive and planned maintenance
Air Conditioning Engineer (Mobile) - Requirements
  • Electrically Qualified - 18th Edition 7671
  • FGAS qualified - Essential
  • Heating Systems: Within legal constraints and following the manufacturers guidelines - to include knowledge of the electrical principals of boilers, plant and associated equipment
  • Fabric: Basic carpentry (door hanging, shelf erecting etc); internal furniture, fittings and décor repairs; external fixtures and fittings repairs; emergency leak repairs and gutter cleaning
  • Experienced in Meter reading; emergency light testing; water temperature recording and alarm testing
  • Electrical Knowledge fault finding on controls is essential
  • Previous experience gained within a FM or building services maintenance environment
  • Understanding and exposure to reporting electronically
  • Able to drive
