Job Description

The Great Projects are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager to join their team.The role provides the opportunity to create and drive your own social media strategy, working alongside the team to reach the overarching goals of the business and hit your personal targets. You will create exciting and engaging content as part of the strategy,as well as manage and report on its success to allow for future optimisation and growth opportunities. Analysing key indicators to understand the success of campaigns and liaising directly with overseas partners to obtain content while working as part of asmall dynamic team means good interpersonal and organisational skills will be crucial.With a current focus on Facebook and Instagram, you will need a good understanding of how these platforms work, and with the aim to expand onto TikTok, you will also have the chance to take the lead on this new and exciting venture.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relevant content topics to reach the companys target customers.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (videos, imagery and written).
  • Work with the team to design, create and manage specific and targeted promotions and social ad campaigns.
  • Implement then manage a content editorial calendar to plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Source content for any campaigns from overseas suppliers and other sources.
  • Analyse, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
  • Respond to any messages received via social channels either received directly or as comments.
  • Develop and grow the online community.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create content for appropriate audience segments
  • A passion for travel and an interest in wildlife and wildlife conservation
  • Previous comparable experience

Working with international partners, they have developed a variety of award-winning holidays which offer their customers thechance to work with and support some of the most endangered species on the planet.Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.Salary: £30,000 - £33,000pa + up to £6,000 in bonuses
