Job Description

Production Technician - Ware BasedMy client is a provider of office interior planting design to suit client needs and they can also offer seasonal displays. They will install and maintain your plant displays enhancing office environments and improving the wellbeing feel of any establishment.They are now looking for a Production Technician to provide a quality, proactive service, working within the Contract Specification to deliver a professional product which meets and where possible exceeds the clients expectations.

  • Build and deliver plant displays following the production lists within the time restraints.
  • To keep the Poly tunnel tidy and neat at all times and recycle all waste accordingly.
  • Disposal or care of all returned plants and containers.
  • Good husbandry practices within the Production Hall. Keeping all areas clean and tidy. Plants well cared for - watered/pruned if returned specimens for future use.
  • Responsibility for tree cleaning as required
  • Inform Operations Supervisor when stocks of sundries i.e., compost, lecca, watering systems etc, are running low.
  • Ensure heating oil is checked and advise Supervisor when running low.
  • Responsibility for all Health and Safety requirements for production area and advising of any potential risks.
Other details
  • 5 days a week early starts some days 5./5.30am 8 hours a day - 40 hours a week.
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays. Uniform provided. Company phone for company use.
This is a physical job with manual handling, and you will need to be fit and able to meet the demands of the job
